The pair of black tubular metal floor lamps, at just over five feet high each, last purchased in Paris some twenty years ago, having elegant swept swan or shepherd’s crook necks to circular poles and mottled rectangular bases surviving from the second quarter of the twentieth century.

The lamps would need to be re-wired with the current set-up being EU French. There is wear and tear commensurate with age but no damages. One of the bases has a different finish to the other as photographed.

The shepherd crook form is a long-time favourite for lighting fixtures and its easy to see why with the long elegant form and the hook for hanging.

Timeless in design and able to suit almost any interior setting.
