The large sized lithograph mounted on board boldly illustrates a cross section of the human heart, showing in clear detail, the ‘Healthy Heart’, with the posterior and the anterior views.
The board is in fair overall order with some watermarks and foxing to the whole, mainly to the outer borders, though for an educational piece this old it remains in relatively impressive condition.
Rare to find on board, this ample slice of early schoolroom biology is a perfect way to fill a space in a truly original manner.
