This rather marvellous travelling case from the Edwardian era is in superb original condition, with a fitted interior, the crocodile skin now bearing a beautiful patina and lustrous natural shine. The handles, hand stitching and studs are all sound, whilst the locks are still in working order. In addition the original key is present which is actually quite remarkable.
The interior is set in plush electric blue with four internal pockets each with their own straps, and the overall condition of the interior, is immaculate all things considered.
The evocative, and still colourful, labels and stickers littered on the case document the former owners travels, from W3 London to Paris, France and add a real aestheticism to an already gorgeous case.
In short, this perfectly original piece of luggage represents a wonderful relapse to the Edwardian era where traveling in luxurious style was simply essential for those who moved in high circles.
