The faded olive green leather swivel bucket chair, having button back supple leather cushions and seat, raised on five-spoke chrome base.
The chair has a good patina and quality soft feel, standing well, and is overall in fine condition, the balanced wear to the leather in places only making it more desirable.
Indicative of mid modern twentieth century design, Danish design had its most successful period between 1925 and 1975. During this time, architects and manufacturers entered into a unique and rewarding collaboration, which raised the standards both aesthetically and functionally.
Classic, simple, elegant, beautifully made and as relevant today as it was sixty years ago; this is a stunningly stylish retro piece that would sit particularly well eclectically mixed with older period pieces.
