The large and scratch built cantilever lamp on a black stained pine platform base, rewired for use today having an on/off switch, and large filament bulb, the hinged stained pine frame adjustable by a cantilevered weighted system, survives from mid-century Sweden.

We have had the lamp fully re-wired so she is now working perfectly and has been PAT tested. There are some scratches and scuffs to the base with a small hairline but nothing detrimental to the whole. The weighted cantilever system is in working order sliding with ease and the weight, which is stamped ‘Sweden’, is seemingly original to the piece. The large filament bulb can be provided with the sale. A shade could be added as the fitting present is adaptable to one.

Inspired by the adjustable architectural drafting lamp, this cantilevered floor lamp rises from the chamfered pine base at an angle and extends cantilevering approximately three feet.

With many mid century items you will find the same examples on offer throughout; though not with this lamp, a real one off.
