In as found condition, the well made dovetailed large grain trug having the original egg shell light blue painted interior with two well patinated carrying handles and black stamped lettering C.A.F.
The word 'trug' is derived from the anglo saxon 'trog', meaning 'boat shaped vessel' and with modern farming methods and the invention of plastic, the trug almost died out.
A versatile piece of country furniture that could be utilised in any number of ways from log to laundry basket and garden planter to window box.
