The Hound’s Brick

The unique red English hand made brick displaying a large hounds paw print to one side, a capsule canine as it were, the whole preserved from the high Victorian period.

The brick is complete with some expected chipped losses and there are remnants of the old mortar.

The brick was obviously salvaged because of the print and it now remains a wonderful mysterious conversation starter.

This is the type of item that sparks the inherit interest and curiosity in the past and of the stories left untold. An antique dealers item.
