A large and attractive cylindrical canister, with original lid, decorated with charming hand-painted floral groups on a green ground, between three yellow bands. There are a few old scratches, dints and flakes to the paint, with some loss, but overall a beautifully rustic and well-proportioned example, which would look lovely in a country kitchen. Tea canisters as large and decorative as this are becoming increasingly scarce. Of course, you don't have to put tea in it, but we would like it if you did!
