The four-feet high pair of black painted cast iron floor lamps, designed in the zeniths of the art deco period in France, having stepped bases to rectangular stems and terminating in double hinged arms, fully rotational through 360 degrees, and surviving from the second quarter of the twentieth century.

The lamps would need to be re-wired with the current set-up being EU French. There is some rusting to each as photographed which does give them a nice indication of their age.

Most certainly inspired by the Art Deco style and probably a very late arrival to this period, the lamps feature the common stepped angular bases that epitomises the aesthetic.

A pair that has the advantage of being able to slide into both a modern or period room setting.
