The fine pencil study of a nude lady, shown almost full length, with a shawl covering her lower abdomen, the subject looking downward, the whole entirely executed in pencil on thick archival paper and surviving from the zeniths of the nineteenth century and framed and glazed in an early twentieth century oak frame.

The condition of the drawing is good overall, with one fold mark to the middle as photographed.

This drawing is well realised and by a good hand, possibly an art school student of the time.

A salient piece of affordable art in an appealing size and by a competent hand.
