SOLD

Origin: English
Period: Mid Nineteenth Century
Provenance: Unknown

Having a re-caned seat, curved top rail, foot step, finely turned front legs and rear sabre legs united by six stretchers.

The chair has a rich and buttery patina and quality feel, standing well, and is overall in fine condition, with a quantity of old worm, but remaining stable. The colour is superb.

This is a charming farmhouse example that could be used to decorate and add evocative appeal to a nursery or simply put to its original use.
