The decorative ivory painted carcass having a pair of frieze drawers, with unusual cast iron and painted oak mask relief decorated front legs, united by an undertier, the whole standing on bun feet.
The buffet is in good structural order, the draws of dovetailed construction gliding soundly, with most of the piece of late nineteenth to early twentieth century construction, the added back being a more recent addition. There appears to be a later black coat of paint and the two upper masks have brass knockers as per a piece of door furniture.
Proving an unusual and attractive proposition, try dovetailing with a large French wall mirror for enviable results.
