The large sized lithograph mounted on linen canvas with lacquered wooden dowels, depicts two humans in anatomical form, illustrating in graphical detail the ‘Circulation of the Blood and Lymph’, with each gland, valve, vessel, artery and organ clearly matched to a key to the bottom of the poster.

The learning plate is in fair overall order with some creases to the lower center and some foxing overall, which do, it has to be said, make for a more atmospheric plate. Hanging on good quality dowels, it can be transported easily and was of course designed to roll up in the classroom, published by Educational Productions at 17 Denbigh Street London SW1, and showing copyright to 1965.

An impressive and sizeable piece of graphic design that is highly prized in decorative terms today; infinitely more so than at the time of its conception.
