Presenting a super Edwardian period antique collection of brass stencils that could be creatively utilised in many ways today housed in a pine case.
Along with the capital letters from A-Z, this boxed set features numbers from 1-10 along with the ‘&’ and ‘£’ symbols. There are some useful duplicates, but most importantly the set is complete from A-Z and 1-10. Each character has its own marked housing slot and the plates are interchangeable if required.
The box is clearly stamped at one end with BRASS and labelled ‘Compartment Font’ amongst other information relating to its contents, whilst the sliding lid bears the name of a certain R.E.LUXTON who was clearly a one-time owner.
With regards to creativity, this set has a thousand possibilities.
