The five-piece oak large round cutting board with handle and struts to the reverse measuring well over two feet in diameter survives from early twentieth century provincial France.

The thick and chunky oak has an evocative deep colour, patination and character with no signs of structural loss – though some minor signs of old worm, now not a problem.

Whether intending to put the board to good use once more under a sharp blade or simply using it as a decorative feature in the home, this piece of genuine antique kitchenalia is a much sought after item in today’s foodie enthused interior.
