The painted pine bench showing hues of crusty salmon and russet pink paint, the whole of pegged construction with cut out ends and a one piece plank top with oval shaped ends to an undulating shaped apron, surviving from the second quarter of the nineteenth century.

The condition is relatively good with the bench still able to be used, but there is some looseness in the joints. One of the feet has loss to one end as pictured. The paintwork is stunning with the top now totally worn of paint.

The beauty here is all in that dreamy crusty paint.
