The rather large and well-proportioned terracotta urn showing the remains of ivory painted decoration, having a spiralled conical body with knopped cover, supported by a gadrooned socle to a square base and surviving from the second quarter of the twentieth century.

The whole is in well-aged and complete condition with the paint now flaking commensurate with age and with no losses or cracks and with moss deposits as photographed.

A very decorative urn that could easily sit inside or out and of good size and impact.
