The attractively designed pouch shaped body with a stylized floral motif-repeating pattern, having a faux pearl clasp, original gilt metal chain and silk interior with pocket.

There is no damage to mention, the whole is in good attractive order. There is perhaps an Art Deco influence to the bag but it is not overtly Art Deco per se in design.

The premise of an evening bag has been around for centuries, and, in medieval times, evening bags were pieced together wondrously from embroided wall hangings, and religious clothing. As we see in this example, an influence for the evening bag was a small pouch wore at the waist of a rich lady where she would keep alms for the poor, marking her out as a high status person.

Overall, this charming bag is a smart choice for a graceful lady.
