The heavy-duty steel factory cabinet of rectangular form, the one-piece carcass displaying the wonderful original black paint now taken on a superb time worn appearance with several other paint splatters to a one piece un-painted top, the doors each with the original brass handles opening to reveal two adjustable shelves, the whole on rod feet and surviving from the middle of twentieth century England.

The cabinet is in decorative as found condition with no major flaws or deficiencies to note. The doors do shut as intended and the locking mechanism works.

Useful, practical, edgy and timeless are all words that express what industrial furniture has come to mean and like traditional antiques they improve with age and the distress that comes hand in hand with their daily use.

A very attractive cabinet that would work well alongside other pieces of contrasting periods.
