The black painted pine occasional or bedside table showing wonderful original textured surfaces, an earlier pink shade beneath the black, craquelured and worn thoroughly and consistently with age, the drawer with original knob handle, the whole raised on turned faux bamboo type legs, surviving from late Victorian England.

The carcass has a wonderful patina, with a host of character commensurate with its age and heavy use and it remains steady on its feet. The knob handle is original. The spiderweb like craquelure to the paint is very well established and is mesmerising.

Paint and texture to die for.
