Date: c.1960
Height: 27.5”

The large painted pine sign, repurposed from a panelled door and at four and a half feet wide, the surface being beautifully worn and textured reading ‘Dog Loose Keep Out!’ in black block script to an ivory ground with the border formerly being black and remnants of red throughout, surviving from 1960s England.

The sign is in good structural order and is ready to be hung with fixings to the reverse. The paintwork has chipped losses as photographed.

The style of the font gives us the 1960s with the type of exclamation mark especially very similar to political posters of this period.

A large and punchy sign with a beautifully textured surface.
