The late Victorian period pine carcass of particularly wide proportions, showing the original period dark brown/black stained finish, now distressed with age, and having an arrangement of five drawers, two short over three long, with the original knob handles to each, the whole sitting on a shaped plinth base.

The drawers glide relatively smoothly, the whole proves sturdy and in good original order. The staining is nicely worn giving the piece a solid decorative feel with the top being more heavily worn as photographed. The shaped plinth base has some chipped losses, and one of the handles has loss to one side.

Left in unequivocally un-meddled with order, just what we like to see.
