Provenance: Unknown
Date: c.1950

The bird composed of real feathers, sits in the brass cage accompanied by simulated flowers.  When wound the beautiful chime emanates for sixteen seconds, and the bird rocks back and forth. A pink fringe hangs from the bottom of the cage, concealing four brass feet. The wind underneath displays a maker's mark 'S'.

All we can say is don't turn it on in the dark.
