The mixed bone fragments all belong to small or medium sized mammals indigenous to the UK like foxes and deer.

City of Bones

Long, dark,
Cold and bold.
I hail from a land where no stories are told.
The past is a myth, the future a lie,
And every day every citizen wishes they’d died.
Fog lines the ground of every street
Concealing the bodies rotting like meat.
