The Case: 4.5 x 4.5 inches
Having fan shaped bowls to slender stems each terminating in a red or black painted wood finial in the shape of a card suit; Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs. The spoons are displayed complete in an attractive blue morocco case with an ivory satin lining and plush velvet interior.
Condition is very good, the silver is not over rubbed or tarnished and the morocco case remains in decent order. Marson & Jones Silversmiths were Birmingham makers between 1915 and 1937 and produced some very fine work within that relatively short space of time.
