The ebonised and gilt-metal wall shelf having three tiers united by tasselled rope twist supports and terminating in a tied bow, the whole surviving from mid-century England.

The shelving is in good stable and useable condition with no damages to be noted. There is some wear to the ebonised extremities of the shelves.

This unusual piece is inspired by the neoclassical and it has a lovely fluidity to it.
