SOLD

The attractive George III period painted pine chest of drawers, having a more unusual drawer configuration of three short over three long drawers, the whole having been comprehensively dry scraped back to the original Georgian pistachio coloured paint, each drawer with ebonised knob handles and standing with a shaped apron to bracket feet and surviving from the first quarter of nineteenth century England.

The chest shows some rather attractive wear and tear with scuffing commensurate with its age, with the drawers running smoothly and the carcass structurally sound. It is in ready to go order.

A sublime period painted piece, lovingly brought back to its former glories.
