The studio portrait modelled head in thick composition plaster of an older male, realistic yet free and relaxed in its execution, survives from the second half of the twentieth century.
The condition of the bust is good with no noticeable chips or cracks and no areas of loss aside from the nose. The composition does remain quite soft in places so when moving it the bust does flake slightly.
And the day break broke me like a little twig,
And with an ounce of strength I continued to live.
