The glazed pine shadow box case housing two specimens, males and female, of Taiwanese (Formosa) Papilio Horishanus tropical swallotail butterflies (Atrophaneura Horishanus.), and annotated as such, surviving from the middle of the twentieth century.

The case is in good condition and ready for wall mounting whilst each specimen remains in good clean order.

This beautiful species was not discovered until around 1910 on the island of Formosa.

Very pretty indeed.
