Having a superb aged patination, the small table top campana shaped urn in verdigris copper having foliate scrolled handles on a four-footed base, each foot moulded with green-man type masks surviving from the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

The whole is in well-aged condition with the metal now encrusted by a beautiful atmospheric oxidisation and weathering and structurally she is sound other than one of the handles being a little loose to the lower end.

Campana is taken to mean bell-shaped and this up-turned bell-shape style of urn is a true classic being of Roman and Greek origin.

A very decorative and pretty table adornment indeed.
