Origin: French Period: Late 19thC Provenance: Unknown Date: c.1900 Depth: 8” Width: 19.5” Height: 9.25” (all at base)
The painted pine stool or small bench showing hues of crusty pistachio green paint to each end, the whole of dovetailed construction with shaped ends and a one piece plank top with carrying handle, surviving from the late nineteenth century France.
The condition is relatively good with the stool still able to be used. The paintwork is very attractive, with the top now totally worn of paint.
The size of this piece means it can just as easily be placed on a table top, as a floor.
