An early Jameson’s advertising poster, numbered 12609, printed in red, black, and gold, published by Sealy, Bryers & Walker, and printed by Alex Thom. & Co, in the early part of the twentieth century.

It was issued to publicans for the express use of advertising Jameson’s in public houses, as stated in small print “This show tablet is the property of Messrs. John Jameson & son, Limited, of Bow Street, Dublin, and is lent for exhibition only, and it must be delivered up to them, or their representative when applied for”.  The poster is in very good and decorative condition, save for one or two spots, and one small hole. It is offered with its original mahogany frame, lettered “John Jameson & son ltd, Dublin”.

A remarkable piece of advertising history, and of pub memorabilia, very collectable, and especially sought after in its original frame.
